In our count, people who asked a forum whether a partner really loves them mostly got advice from strangers, not a verdict. We read 315 people on Pantip, the big Thai web forum, and on Ask MetaFilter, an English one, in 37 threads from 2015 to 2026. Of the 33 who asked whether a partner loved them, 32 wrote that they couldn’t tell; few came back later to say how things turned out.
The people answering them pointed most often to acts of care (15 people) and to steadiness over weeks or months (12), and 18 said words alone prove little. Next came a partner who changes things for you (11), all in one thread where another 11 said that proves nothing on its own. None of those threads is about a Thai woman with a Western man, so read the counts as what Thai and English posters say about partners in general, not as a rule about Thai women.
