In October 2026 we read the posts of 231 Thai women in 18 Pantip threads, from 2014 to 2023, whose subject is why some Thai women choose a foreign partner, or how foreign and Thai men compare as partners. We counted a poster as a woman when her Thai word endings were female ones, and each woman once, only for what she wrote herself: her stance, the reasons she gave, anything she said about money, and whether she has a foreign partner. A woman who didn’t mention a reason is counted as not mentioning it, not as rejecting it.

We read what 231 Thai women wrote in 18 Pantip threads (2014 to 2023, mostly 2014 to 2019) about why some Thai women choose a foreign partner. 105 say they like or prefer foreign men, 60 say the nationality is not the point (character, a click, luck), and 13 say they prefer a Thai or Asian man. 154 name at least one reason. The most common is that Thai men let them down (45), then maturity and attitude (28), equal treatment and respect (27), and not judging a past partner or her body (26). 34 talk about money: 20 say it is not the reason, 14 say it is part of it for some women. These are people who chose to post, not a share of Thai women.

Found by saving 89 threads with the fetcher (11 everyday Thai searches on why Thai women like or choose foreign men, Thai versus foreign men, and women who do not like foreigners), reading every title, and coding the women in the 18 threads whose subject fits. A Pantip woman counts if her own posts in the thread have female word endings and no male ones
